PRICING

At Prime Time Learning we tailor the learning to meet the needs of the individual because everyone's needs are different. An initial consultation and assessment will take before commencing tutoring and will include a written report. Below is a guide highlighting the different options that we provide. If you have any questions or would like to discuss your child's needs further get in touch and we will do our best to meet your child's needs.

INITIAL ASSESSMENT

NUMICON

  • ​$180 (takes up to 3 hours split over two sessions)

NZ CURRICULUM BASED MATHS ASSESSMENTS

  • $100 (takes up to 1 1/2 hours to complete)​

STRUCTURED LITERACY ASSESSMENT

  • $120 (takes up to 2 hours completed in one session)

This price includes a written report which you will receive within a week of your child completing the assessment.

25% of the cost is refunded if you commit to tutoring for at least one term (approx. 9 weeks)

TUTORING
Helping Tutor

  • $60 per hour*

​Based on commitment for at least one term (approx. 9 weeks)

*This is based on one lesson per week and for one curriculum area (mathematics or literacy). We work within the school terms and provide catch ups in the school holidays.

INDIVIDUAL FACE TO FACE

We aim to be flexible to meet individual needs. If you have certain requirements please get in touch and we will what we can do. 

There is an additional charge of up to $10 each term for resources (e.g. equipment, workbooks, printing). 

Numicon tutoring requires a one off payment of $40 for the use of a Numicon Maths Bag to continue learning at home.

If you would like us to directly communicate with your child's teacher there is a $5 fee.

SCHOOL HOLIDAY BOOSTER

School Holiday Booster sessions are intended to provide students with intensive instruction to boost their learning and support improvement in an area of the curriculum they are having difficulties with.

​AT OUR OFFICE

  • 4 x 60min sessions - $200

  • 4 x 45min sessions - $160

We can also do individual lessons at the standard rate of $60 per hour.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING

The cost of the lessons also includes the time spent behind the scenes, planning and analysing assessment data to ensure that we provide the best quality teaching we can.
